1 Samuel 10:26 (NKJV) And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and valiant men went with him, whose hearts God had touched.

Matthew 27:55-56 (NKJV) And many women who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him, were there looking on from afar, {56} among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons.

Luke 8:2-3 (NKJV) and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, {3} and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.

Acts 16:14-15 (NKJV) Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. 15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us.


Introduction

Every successful operation requires committed people willing to serve in a support role behind a leader. Any successful organization, be it business, government, ministry, or cause must have people who have caught the vision and are willing toward the success of the common cause.

Are you committed to the cause of Jesus Christ? Are you willing to devote your energy and resources to the success of His kingdom.


I. They received a touch from God

1 Samuel 10:26 (NKJV) And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and valiant men went with him, whose hearts God had touched.

Luke 8:2-3 (NKJV) and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, {3} and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.

A. His touch is liberating, healing, and life changing

B. HIs touch will take you into His royal court

  1. His touch will take you to places you never dreamed of going


II. They caught a glimpse of what God desired to do

Hebrews 11:13 (NKJV) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

A. God's touch gives a view of His potential, purpose and power

B. His touch will enable you to have perspective on what He is doing

C. His touch will call you to committment

Hebrews 11:35-38 (NKJV) Women received their dead raised to life again. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. {36} Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. {37} They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented; {38} of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.

D. His touch will change the course of your life

III. They committed themselves to what they believed in

John 6:66-68 (NKJV) From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. {67} Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?" {68} But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

A. A message about those who left

1 John 2:19 (NKJV) They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

1. They had not been touched by the Lord

2. They had not caught the vision

B. Those who remained faithful

1. Received new careers

2. Received new identities

3. Received a new way of living
