Introduction

Ours is an era of specialization. Doctors specialize in one small segment of medicine. Attorneys specialize in a specific area of law. On a production line, workers perform a single task repetitively. But whatever Jesus did, he did well.

I. The things he did well

A. He freed the emotionally and spiritually oppressed

Mark 7:30 NKJV And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.

B. He healed the infirm

Mark 7:34-35 NKJV Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened." {35} Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.

C. He befriended the outcast

Matthew 8:2-3 NKJV And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." 3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

II. What this means to you

Hebrews 7:25 NKJV Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

A. He is able to deal with your present circumstance

B. He is able to deal with your present emotional state

C. He is able to deal with your present illness

D. He is able to deal with your present financial dilemma

Matthew 17:27 NKJV "Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you."

III. How should you respond

John 1:11-12 NKJV He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. {12} But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

A. Come to Him

B. Ask Him for help

C. Follow His instructions
